I'm thinking about that rainy afternoon when we first met at the café off Patel Bridge. You were soaked through, laughing at yourself, and I thought "well, that's trouble."
Five years later I still think it. Every morning I'm grateful that the universe routed us into the same downpour.
This isn't a long letter. Just one to mark the day, and to say: thank you for being the steady warm spot in my life. Thank you for the early-morning chai. Thank you for the way you laugh at your own jokes before you finish them.
